Movie Night, Sarah's Key. Temple Shir Tikvah, no charge. A tragic and shameful moment in French history continues to have consequences in the present day in this screen adaptation of the novel by Tatiana de Rosnay. An American journalist (Kristin Scott Thomas), married to a Frenchman, is commissioned to write an article about the notorious Vel d’Hiv roundup, which took place in Paris in 1941, when the Vichy government arrested over 13,000 Jews. She stumbles upon a family secret, which will link her forever to the destiny of a young Jewish girl, Sarah. |

Join us to see Car Talk: The Musical!!! at the Central Square Theater in Cambridge. This is a new musical comedy inspired by the legendary NPR radio show recorded in “our fair city” and performed only blocks from where Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers, opened their Good News Garage. Car Talk: The Musical !!! sends up classic Broadway songs, exploring our romantic obsession with the automobile. Like the radio show, Car Talk: The Musical!!! is about life, love, laughter, and the American Dream. |

Connections: Women of Shir Tikvah
Connections: Women of Shir Tikvah is the women’s organization at the Temple. Connections seeks opportunities to explore what it means to be a woman and Jewish or involved with a Jewish partner in our time.
We sponsor 3 events per year that invite reflection, learning, and discussion. The vision of Connections is to be inclusive of all women in the congregation and enable them to meet and connect with other women around issues of importance to them.
Shir Tikvah Men's Group
Meets first and third Sundays of the month for men interested in connecting with others about issues relevant to their lives. This is not a therapy group and is led by its members. For more information, please contact Steve Joseph.
Shir Chadash: Temple Singers
Shir Tikvah’s choir is named after our signature song "Shiru L’adonai, Shir Chadash" ("Sing a new song to God"). Our group, which includes teens and adults, is lead by Cantor Beth Levin. We perform at High Holiday services and at Friday evening Shabbat services about 4 times during the year. At our rehearsals we share music, laughter, and personal stories.
Add your voice! We generally rehearse the first and third Wednesday evenings of the month, from 7:309 PM. Professional voice training and sight-reading are not necessary. All you have to do is carry a tune and love singing Jewish music. For more information, contact Beth Levin.
