Rental Checklist
(Revised 6/21/06)

Use this checklist as a reminder of necessary paperwork and required deadlines.


Prior to Event:

____ Select date for event with Temple Director of Administration.
____ Keep a copy of this guide for reference. Check Temple web site periodically as this guide is updated throughout the year.
____ Submit Building Use Application and Agreement, along with a deposit of one half of the rental fee no later than 30 days after receiving a confirmed date.
____ If a caterer will be used, provide caterer with Caterer’s Agreement and information on food restrictions.
____ If alcohol will be served, obtain a one-day liquor permit from Winchester Town Hall at least thirty days before the event.
____ At least thirty days before the event, check with caterer to ensure that Caterer’s Agreement, with deposit and certificate of insurance, have been provided to the Temple.
____ At least ten days before the event, pay balance of rental fee to Director of Administration.
____ At least ten days before the event, provide diagram of desired room set-up for oneg and/or party. (Note: A standard oneg set-up includes 2 or 3 six-foot tables in the Oneg Room. If you will use this set-up, no sketch is needed.)
____ Schedule access to building by caterer, photographer, and florist with Director of Administration.
____ Call the Director of Administration two days before the event to determine availability of parking in First Congregational Church lot.

Remove floral arrangements.

Arrange for trash removal (temple's dumpster may not be used by caterers).
