Shabbat Services
Temple Shir Tikvah maintains an active schedule of year-round Shabbat services. Our joyous song-filled Friday evening services are usually led by Rabbi Rim and/or Cantor Beth Levin. We have three types of Friday services, the regular adult Shabbat Service is held at 8 PM. Family Services and Dine 'n Daven are held monthly. Saturday services include Tot Shabbat, B'nai Mitzvah, and Havdalah.

Tot Shabbat (Katan v'Gadol) (also on our Education Page)
Tot Shabbat is our Saturday morning Shabbat celebration designed for pre-readers. We meet on the first Saturday of each month at 10 AM. Join our Tot Shabbat leader Angela Schatz in prayer, song, dance, stories, and tot-oriented activities. It is a great way to meet other families with young children. For more information contact TotShabbat@shir-tikvah.org
Monthly on Saturday mornings
Location: at the Temple
Time: 10–11 AM

Check the Calendar pages for the Tot Shabbat schedule and monthly topics.

Saturday B’nai Mitzvah Services
Shabbat Services are held on Saturday morning (Shacharit) or Saturday afternoon (Mincha/Ma'ariv) for community Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies. The congregation is always encouraged to participate in these joyous events.

Havdalah
Havdalah, Hebrew for "separation," is a ritual that notes the separation between the holiness of Shabbat from ordinary weekdays. Periodically during the year, we hold short Havdalah services generally followed by some community activities. During the summer, our Havdalah services are leisurely pot-luck dinners in members’ backyards, giving members of our community more opportunities to meet new friends and renew old acquaintances.
