Partakers pairs mentors with incarcerated men and women earning college degrees from Tufts, Emerson, Boston College, and Boston University. Volunteers form small teams to help students reach their dreams. Participants keep up through letters, emails, and monthly meetings in a secure, open visiting room. The time commitment is minimal and scheduling flexible.

Nationwide 75% of people released from prison return within five years. Only 5% who earn a degree are incarcerated again.
