Lifecycle Events
We are all on a journey.
Our lives unfold, and we mark the significant events as milestones. These include births and adoptions, conversions, bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, weddings, illness, death, and caring for the bereaved. They can also include other life passages: recovering from a miscarriage, coming out to family and friends, beginning a new life adventure. All are transitional experiences, reminding us that life is both beautiful and impermanent, whole and broken. We want to commemorate these times by creating Jewish rituals that separate the special from the everyday.
Both Rabbi Cari and Beth Levin work closely with individuals and families to help them observe these occasions in ways that are meaningful. They would be happy to hear from you.
Our facilities are available to nonmembers for private events. For event planning information, click here or contact the temple office.
