Do you know that the Temple has an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)? Do you know where it is located in the Temple? Do you know CPR and how to use an AED? CPR training is essential for everyone to know. The Temple is offering a class for interested members. The class includes the American Heart Association program of AED use, CPR (adult, child, and infant), and response training for airway obstruction and choking. The choking instruction will include special situations of someone who is pregnant, someone of large body size, and what to do if you are choking with no one there to help. The class involves a time commitment of 3 - 3 1/2 hours. The instructor, Dan Perenick, can accommodate 20 potential heroes. The cost is $50.00 per person (payment is by check, made out to Heart Start CPR). Our scheduled dates for this class are Thursday 4/26 from 6-9 pm and Sunday 4/29 from 2-5 pm.
