Join with Caroline Lieber and Beth Levin for a weekly 30-minute check in as we count the 7 weeks of the Omer. We will meet every Wednesday at 5pm until May 27th. The only exception is this week when we’ll meet instead on Thursday, April 16th, at 5pm so we do not conflict with the observance of Yizkor.

A little background: Counting the Omer began as an ancient agricultural practice described in the Torah. In the 16th century, Jewish mystics innovated a practice designed for personal introspection and personal growth. The “counting” leads us from the 2nd night of Passover to the first night of Shavuot. 

We are using Rabbi Yael Levy’s book, Journey through the Wilderness, as a guide this year, but feel free to use whatever source you’d like. Helpful practices are journaling and/or finding an omer-counting buddy during this time.
