An Israeli Arab and an Israeli Druze share their stories

Tamim Saad works for the Accountant General at the Israeli Ministry of Finance and as such, served as a CFO of several ministries at the Israeli government. He now serves as Commissioner (Member of the Board of Directors) of the Israeli Securities Authority, and has also served on the Board of Directors of the Haifa Port. Tamim founded "WamdaTec", a program for fostering leadership and technological entrepreneurship among young Arabs and Druze in Israel. He is currently studying at the Harvard Kennedy School as a fellow of the Wexner Fellowship.
Erez Engel currently heads a department in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, in charge of challenging aspects of Israel’s national security. In the past 15 years, he has held various management positions, including heading a strategic planning department and training unit. Throughout his service, Erez has contributed significantly to major projects, one of which won the Israel Defense Award. Another earned him a personal Director’s Award and three more earned his unit the Director’s Award. In addition to his work, he volunteers with Holocaust survivors. Erez holds a BA from the Honors Program and a BS in Computer Science, both from Haifa University. He is married to Ravit and the father of three.
