Bring your own shofar!

Have you always wanted to learn how to blow shofar? Here’s your chance! On Tuesday, August 4th at 7 pm, Barry Star will be hosting an Introduction to Shofar Blowing class! All ages are most welcome.

Throughout the Hebrew month of Elul (beginning on August 21st), we hope to post pop-up videos of temple members blowing a tekiah blast on shofar, as we begin to spiritually “wake up” in the approach to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We hope you’ll record yourself and help our community prepare for the sacred days ahead.
