While we all agree that healthcare in the US is wildly dysfunctional and unnecessarily expensive, it’s difficult for any of us to feel we can have a direct impact on the problem. But through Temple Shir Tikvah’s membership with GBIO, we are taking action to improve healthcare for the people of Massachusetts. We will have a table set up at the Ambrose School on Sunday, Feb 9 to collect signatures from temple members urging their state representatives to pass a bill aimed at: - Lowering the cost of prescription drugs - Enforcing real parity for mental health and substance abuse disorder care - Effectively regulating out-of-network surprise billing.
