5:00 PM - 7:00 PMMember's House TBAMediterranean Mezza Cooking Class and Dinner with Katie Walter, $40 fee, BYOB March 14, 2020 5-7 pm+, located at a TST member’s Winchester home. This hands-on class will be taught by Katie Walter, the owner of Two Aprons Cookery in Lexington. She is a caterer and co-author of "Some Like It Hot," Chronicle Books, 2005, who spent some time at America’s Test Kitchen in Boston. Here’s a class description: Mezze is a Mediterranean style of dining consisting of small plates. In this class we’ll create a variety of these small plates, enough to make an entire meal. Recipes include Baba Ghanouj (a smoky, roasted eggplant spread), Muhammara (a roasted pepper dip with walnuts), Tabbouleh (a chopped salad of parsley, bulgur, cucumber and tomato), and Lamb Stuffed Grape Leaves. We’ll also grill up pita bread to enjoy with all of these dishes. Join us for some fun-filled cooking and socializing! Sign-up below by Tuesday, March 10. Class is limited to 12 participants.
