Life after Retiring: Time to (Re)discover your Passions
Sunday, March 16, 2025 • 16 Adar 5785
2:30 PM - 4:00 PMPlease join us in the Oneg Room for the film “Still Kicking” and a follow-up discussion.
If you have wondered what you want to do after retirement, join us to meet some older role models who are living with amazing zest and purpose. Filmmaker Amy Gorman follows six women from the San Francisco area who challenge our stereotypes about aging. They show us that our later years can be a time of creative expression and deep satisfaction, as we see how each has pursued her unique passion.
Maybe you will be inspired to reconnect with an old interest you have not had time to pursue lately. Or perhaps you’ll be inspired to learn some new creative endeavor that will fill your post-retirement time with passionate engagement.
“This wonderful film captures the love of life, humor and self-acceptance that can come with age." - Laura Carstensen, Director of the Stanford Center on Longevity
