Based on our values of justice, this year Temple Sir Tikvah made a pledge to support the local NAACP.  Several Shir Tikvah members are actively involved in the Mystic Valley branch and TST is one of several cosponsors of this exciting event. 

The Mystic Valley Branch of the NAACP has been fighting for equality, civil rights, and community support since 1977. Originally started in West Medford, it now serves the towns of the Mystic Valley area including Arlington, Winchester, Woburn, Everett, Malden and Medford—  communities where many Temple Shir Tikvah members reside.
