Join us for our annual Yom HaShoah service led by the 7th grade class. Linda Singer-Berk, our featured speaker, will share her family’s Holocaust story. Our Israel Committee is proud to host the Oneg this year as we pivot toward Yom Ha’atzma’ut, Israel’s Independence Day.

The timing of these holidays is significant as we remember the past while holding hope for the future. We acknowledge the many conflicted feelings in regard to Israel, knowing that it is possible to deeply disagree with the direction a government is taking while feeling connected to the country and its people. To that end, we invite the community to join us to acknowledge Israel’s birthday at the conclusion of the service, and to make a donation to an organization called IPC which supports victims of sexual abuse in Israel.
