What’s Happening this Week
We are very pleased to announce the re-start of Shabbat morning Torah Study at Shir Tikvah with attendance open to all starting on November 4th, 2017. The group will be held every Saturday morning in the temple library from 10:30am to 12:00pm (we ask that you do not come earlier than 10:15am to park to allow parking for bar/bat mitzvah attendees). The group is lay-led; what we lose in background context we gain in the sense of ownership and creativity we can let loose among attendees.
No background is needed; just a willingness to read some text. Come as often as you like. Discussion lasts an hour and half, offering plenty of time for all attendees to explore their beliefs, interpretations, and wonderment. Texts are chosen by consensus in the group.
