We are thrilled to bring a mindfulness session to the Ambrose School, led by Peter Feinmann. A long-time member of Temple Shir Tikvah, Peter is presently part of an International Mindfulness Teaching Program.
Suppressed: The Fight to Vote A short film and dicussion with Shir Tikvah's Phoebe Einzig-Roth Thursday, January 9, 7:00 pm Last fall, Shir Tikvah member Phoebe Einzig-Roth was a freshman at Emory University in Atlanta where she would vote for the first time. Election day was exciting until reality hit and Phoebe encountered voter suppression. See the film that includes her story. Talk with Phoebe afterwards. Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) HELP US REPAIR THE WORLD If you are interested in getting involved, contact us. The Tikkun Olam committee is looking for new volunteers to join our temple literacy team and work with elementary students in an underserved Somerville public school.
