This two-session course will focus on how Reform Judaism began and how it has evolved from the eighteenth century to the present.
Session 1: The Origins of Reform Judaism: Judaism Confronts Modernity. The roots of Reform Judaism are found in the rapidly changing world of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. How did Jewish leaders confront the challenges of science, nationalism, technology, and end of the ghetto? How did these changes challenge traditional Jewish ideas of the messiah, the Jewish people, and life after death? See the Adult Learning Winter/Spring brochure.

It brings that legendary Memphis night to life, featuring a score of hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Great Balls of Fire," "Walk the Line," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Who Do You Love," "Matchbox," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and more. Community Brunch: "Drop Off and Drop In" Sunday, April 7 | 9:30 am | The Ambrose School, 27 High Street, Winchester
Block off your calendar for the morning of April 7th to enjoy coffee, conversation and cherished pre-Passover carbs* with friends after dropping students off at Learning Corps. Think of this as the usual bagel spread but on steroids. It's too often we drop and go, leaving little time to relax and connect with one another. We hope you'll stay for 20 minutes or 2 hours to add your light to this gathering. *Fruit will be served as well (we recognize 'carbs' do not sweeten the deal for some).
Science and Judaism Series: "Dayenu: Enough" Friday, April 12 | 7:30 pm
Part of the "Science and Judaism Talk to Each Other" series: Rachel Buchsbaum is the Chief of Hematology and Oncology at Tufts Medical Center.

And some of us at mid-life find that we need to help a parent downsize, or empty a home after they have passed away. Join us to learn more about: • Clutter vs. Treasures • "What if I need it…" • Saving things for the kids/grandkids • Marie Kondo/Tidying Up/Sparking Joy • "What do I do with all the stuff?"
