Cradles to Crayons Donations

The Sixth Grade class is volunteering at the Cradles to Crayons warehouse on February 15. Please bring donations of new/like-new clothes, books, and toys to the Ambrose School lobby when the table is staffed, 9:15-9:45 am and 11:15-11:45 am. Find the full list of acceptable items here. “Yossi”, the sequel to our last film "Yossi and Jagger” about the love between two gay Israel soldiers, takes place ten years later. Yossi, now a closeted cardiologist, hasn’t completely recovered from Jagger’s death. How will Yossi move on? This movie will appeal whether or not you’ve seen the original. Learn more.

The Tikkun Olam committee is looking for new volunteers to join our temple literacy team and work with elementary students in an underserved Somerville public school. Model English language reading and engage in literacy games with your students. For more information, click here.
