S'mores in the Sukkah: Sukkot Celebration and Open House Monday, October 14 | 4:00 am - 5:30 pm
Celebrate this harvest festival with us! Help us make decorations for the sukkah and learn about the holiday through songs and stories. We'll also make edible sukkot and have holiday snacks.
Jericho Walk Tuesday, October 15 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | ICE Enforcement and Removal Office, 1000 District Ave, Burlington (also comes up as 10 District Ave on maps)
This is a peaceful, interfaith witnessing activity that expresses support for the rights of immigrants and the importance of keeping families together. Bring signs with positive messages (nothing about specific politicians, please). Please park near the back of the lot, as far as possible from District Ave.

In the sanctuary and oneg room. Bring something sweet or savory to share at the oneg. No meat, shellfish, or raw onions please!

In this documentary, forty people aged 75-100 share their secrets, wit and wisdom of age. Following the film, director Sky Bergman will join us for a Skype Q&A session. This one-day forum will include presentations by leading experts on anti-Semitism and skill building workshops for adults, students and families. Join TST's Welcoming the Stranger committee to watch and discuss "Harvest of Empire: A History of Latinos in America." This documentary helps to explain why thousands of people from Central America are seeking refuge in the U.S., despite the perilous journey north and the ever more brutal reception they receive on the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Tikkun Olam committee is looking for new volunteers to join our temple literacy team and work with elementary students in an underserved Somerville public school.
