Aging Well Movie Event: Lives Well Lived October 24 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm - Arlington Robbins Library Community Room
In this documentary, forty people aged 75-100 share their secrets, wit and wisdom of age. Following the film, director Sky Bergman will join us for a Skype Q&A session. There’s a follow-up conversation at the temple, November 10th to share our thoughts about this question. More information found here.
Racial Justice Shabbat Services with Rabbi Cari and Beth Friday, October 25 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
The Racial Justice action group educates our congregation about the history of racial injustice in our country and about local events related to this theme. In the sanctuary and oneg room. Bring something sweet or savory to share at the oneg. No meat, shellfish, or raw onions please!

This one-day forum will include presentations by leading experts on anti-Semitism and skill building workshops for adults, students and families. This documentary helps to explain why thousands of people from Central America are seeking refuge in the U.S., despite the perilous journey north and the ever more brutal reception they receive on the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Tikkun Olam committee is looking for new volunteers to join our temple literacy team and work with elementary students in an underserved Somerville public school.
